An Introduction to Livingoffside.com
by Tim Lewis

I was born in Cardiff in 1960 and from an early age I began to follow sport in Wales. Over time, I became more and more intrigued by the array of fan cultures that I came into contact with, not only in the UK, but from all around the world.

By the mid 1990s, my interest in the global impact of sport encouraged me to study Sociology of Sport at Leicester University. Since this time, I have lectured in many aspects of sports culture and also built a portfolio of sports illustrations and cartoons.

Today, livingoffside.com is an outlet for my sporting experiences and for my sport and other cartoon artwork. It is also a platform for fans from around the world to present their own sports stories in words and pictures.

I hope you enjoy your visit to livingoffside.com
